Air New Zealand to launch thrice-weekly Auckland-Buenos Aires flights December 2015

Travel News 01 Apr 2015

Commencing on 1 December 2015, Air New Zealand will launch its first ever scheduled service to South America on the Auckland-Buenos Aires route.

Flights will run three times a week on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays on a Boeing 777-200 aircraft offering business, premium economy and economy classes, including the airline’s ‘SkyCouch‘ concept that converts rows of three economy class seats into a flat bed.

Subject to regulatory approvals, Air New Zealand will also offer onward connections from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo, through a codeshare partnership with Aerolineas Argentinas. The Argentine national carrier will also codeshare on the Buenos Aires-Auckland service, as well as on trans-Tasman services to Sydney and Melbourne.
