Want to earn double points with Hilton HHonors?

Posted on May 14, 2014 by

Hilton Worldwide has re-launched its Double Your HHonors promotion. In 2013, Hilton clients accrued more than four billion points, and the hotel chain is expecting an even larger response this year.

In anticipation of the summer season, and operating until July 31, 2014, Hilton HHonors members will earn double points or double airline miles for qualifying stays.

Participating brands include Hilton, Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, DoubleTree, Embassy Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Hotels, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites and Hilton Grand Vacations.

The double points applies not only to room rates, but also to: food and beverages, laundry, pay-per-view , recreational facilities, and other incidental charges sent to the Member’s room during a stay. The double points are not applied to restaurant dining charged to a room. Some hotels have chosen not to participate, so ask your travel manager to check your hotel first!

In fact, a traveller can accrue up to 100,000 Base Points per stay on most Hilton locations, and an unlimited number of points for stays at Homewood Suites by Hilton, Home2Suites by Hilton and Qasr Al Sharq, which is a member of the Waldorf Astoria.

Be advised that while multiple rooms are eligible, group master-billing arrangements of multiple rooms invoices billed to a company’s finance department are not. In this instance, only each traveller’s incidentals are eligible.

To participate, members can register for the promotion at hhonors.com/double before check-out. To earn double miles, please select “Points & Miles” as your MyWay Earning Style preference, and choose a preferred airline partner.

Mark Weinstein, Hilton’s vice-president said: “With more points or miles, HHonors members get to choose what earning style works for them, making it even easier to earn more points or miles that can be turned into unforgettable travel adventures with family and friends.”
